ALKOAlkotakso in Harjumaa
Alkotakso, or alkotaksi, in Harju county is the same service as in the city: a courier brings alcohol and drinks to your door. Only the drive differs, and its length is agreed before the courier sets off.
Directions and timing
East — Maardu, Muuga
A short drive from the city limit. Usually the quickest direction outside town.
North — Viimsi, Haabneeme, Pringi
Along Pirita tee. In summer and at weekends traffic adds time.
West — Tabasalu, Harku, Rannamõisa
Via the Paldiski road. Keila is further out and is agreed separately.
South — Laagri, Saue, Jüri, Peetri
The Tartu and Pärnu road direction. Peetri and Laagri sit closest to the city limit.
What differs from the city
The time is agreed before dispatch
In town we say 5–30 minutes. In Harjumaa the time depends on the direction and the hour, so the dispatcher gives a concrete time for your address and only then does the courier leave.
The address has to be exact
House number, floor and gate code where they exist. In villages and garden associations finding the address takes longer than the drive itself.
Keep your phone to hand
The courier calls on arrival. Doors are harder to find outside the city, and one call saves both sides time.
